Ya i actually kinda ghetto rigged my airbox. i took the plastic resonator and tubing off the front of the airbox, leaving a small 3X4 ish inch hole. when i heard it after that i took a dremel and made an equally large hole above it. sounds great, and of course the butt dyno will always say its faster when such a sweet symphony is sung into your earholes. haha..just because i like the throaty sound, its enough for me and it keeps the car quiet when you wanna be unlike most exhaust ive seen. the frankencar and i thought it was meghan left it pretty mellow down low and sounded great on top.

Where are your o2 sims? same place as stock? also have you tuned?

that would make sense that you didnt even have to mount it .. did you have a dyno or tune done after the headers and o2 sim?

Also my previous post was why i visited my original page. anyone able to help with the oil leak at the end of page 3? thanks to all

Haven't done headers yet, but that is when I'd go with O2 sims. When my car got inspected last week, they did look at my O2 plugs and checked off that all were there, so any O2 sim mounting would have to be down low so it appears everything is still hooked up right.

He's trying to refer to the MAF sensor itself, but doesn't seem as if he really knows much at all. Jibberish.

Jibberish... Nmex, you think that could be valve covers? it would help if i posted a pic of my engine bay where you see the oil, its right above the belts. i cant tell if its valve covers timing case or what looks like a water pump, ill get a pic posted. thanks!
