Fold down the seats, dent the leather??

I didn't think about this until I got home, folded the rear seats back up and found the nice imprints of the seat belt buckles everywhere!

Is there somewhere you're supposed to be able to stow them, or am I just being ****?

LoL I used to think about that too...but I'm just weird and nitpicky!

But they go back to their original shape, so it's not like the imprint will be there forever.

Relax

No, your not being **** at all! I understand wholeheartedly! I try to carry a pretty thick blanket in the trunk when I know that I might need to fold the seats down. I place the blanket between the bottom cushion and the seat backs to prevent exactly what you are refering to. Nissan leather is not the thickest or most durable leather in the world.

In addition, I rarely have people in the back seat so I tuck the seatbelt buckles down in the cut-out holes in the bottom cushion. Do't get me wrong, the buckles are still visible but not totally and have a cleaner, more integrated appearance when tucked between the seat cushion. The only buckle remaining totally visible is the center position buckle. There is less likely a chance to damage the seat. If someone sits in the back seat, they just pull out the buckle they need from the bottom cushion. Hope this helps!

Respectfully,

thanks guys! I am relaxing I just spend so much time on the car and try to be extra careful I just didn't anticpate seeing these imprints!

Brad - carrying a blanket sounds like a good idea. I wish nissan put in the little spaces to tuck these in so it wouldn't happen!
