whats the best way 2 replace alternator belt..

1. i suppose take off the passenger side wheel..to start..am i correct?
2.take off tensioner pulley?

Jack car up, remove wheel, remove plastic shrouding, loosen tensioner pulley bolt on pulley, loosen tension from under hood (tension adjustment bolt), remove belt, repalce belt, Budweiser.

Don't take the pulley off, you don't have to.

Best way to understand this, open hood, jack car up, take wheel and plastic shrouding off, take a good look around, pretty self explanatory.

mission complete...everything is running smooth........btw nmexmax i did it xactly how u said it was easy,but i had to fix the tension by loosening the alternator and make it perfectly tight..

It can be done by loosening the holy hell out of the adjuster bolt under the hood, so you it's not mandatory to do what you did, but I suppose it might make it easier.

Glad we could help. I need to tighten my PS belt
