Need help from 5th gen guys who have had a wreck :( pics later...
I was T-bone this morning (lady ran a stop sign) and i was curious what all would need to be fixed...and need help bad.
I cant post pics cause i am on a school server that blocks picture hosting websites...
So drivers side front... My rim is smashed all the way in the fender and its Diagonal like this back slash > / < . Front driver fender is jack bad. about a foot of the driveers door is jack. The door wont open all the way... or shut. front bumper is meesed up on the left side. Stillen body kit front is jacked. driver Headlight is jacked. Im guessing the axle has to be broke or bent bad!!
Some one please help... I have never been in an accident and need some advice. My car is an 02 6 spd all options with no Navi. 70k.
If someone could give me advice and maybe a ballpark esitimate i would be very apprecitive.
Any advice with insurance claims would be great also...

Since it was not your fault, contact the other person's insurance company and have them either fix your car or give you the replacement cost for it. Did you get a police report filled out at the time of the accident? Was the other person either faulted or given a traffic ticket? If not, you will need to contact your insurance company.

yes the lady was cited and report was made. for some odd reason the airbags didnt deploy but the impact knocked my car about 10 ft. I have a pic but i can host it and post it. I am just afraid the car will never be the same. I do want to add this nissan held up pretty wel against contact. if someone can post a pic ill email it to you.
I know I have aftermarket stuff and i dont wanna lose money not being able to get all that fix also. rims... Struts springs... stillen lip...
I dont know how to estimate this damage at all... anyone?

Ahh sh*t man...sorry to hear that.
Where did it happen?
EDIT: As for the aftermarket stuff, I've not had experience, but I'd say to start gathering receipts/invoices (if you have them).

T-Bone... Good Luck.
There is a 90% chance they will total your ride. At which point it would be waaaay waaaay to expensive to buy it back and fix.
Unles there is no frame damage then you might be able to fix it.
I was in a fenderbender 02 Max vs. 72 caddy... (i lost)
Damage: Front bumper, 1 headlight, radiator support, hood, grille, paint and blend in w/ the fenders... TOTAL: $5,500

Is that stuff cheap?
If they Total my ride, How much should they give me? My insurance lady said that they will try to LOWBALL you at first. What should I expect to get out of my car? THANKS!!!

If the frame isn't damaged, I doubt your car is a total. Usually it takes damages of at least half the car's worth for them to total it. Just looking at that picture, it appears to be $2000-3000 in damage, again assuming no frame damage.
Do not take it to the dealer, they do one thing well-sell cars. 99% of them flat suck at bodywork and painting. Find a good independent body shop, look at cars they have worked on IN THE FULL SUN and look for buffer marks, overspray, runs, etc. Do not look at any of their work under fluorescent lights. They put out a diffused light that makes it hard to spot defects.
Keep after the insurance company, make them put you into a rental ASAP and don't let them feed you any BS that you have to take it to one of their 'approved' body shops.

2000-3000... that does not seem to be that much? I know painting will be 600... rim and tire is 500. then theres what even a fender cost and a door.... an axle... brake work... new struts...and other things i dont see. Half of what its worth is 6000 ... I really have no clue what to expect ....

for Independant Body Shop...
DO NOT take it to a dealer.
(BTW... it seems like you exageratted in your original description of the damage)
Not much "body shop" exp. on my end but that looks like at least 5k in repair work.

Ok, this is what you do.
Get your car appraised by her insurance company. Then take your car to a well known shop that will not **** around. Have them do the work, and bam, you walk away with a fixed car (if it can be fixed)
Don't worry about doing the work yourself, find the most expensive shop in town that does the best job. From there, you aftermarket parts will NOT be covered unless you told your insurance about them, and they factored them into your insurance rate. Your care is covered as a stock vehicle unless you informed them otherwise.
It is not that big of a deal, but simply you may have lost money on performance parts, don't let her insurance company fix it, ask around, someone has to know a well known body shop.
