PCV AND REAR MAIN SEAL LEAK

Alright I have or had a leak at the rear main seal. Seems as though I forgot to empty my Craftsman oil catch container and the pressure must have built up to the point where it pushed oil through the RMS. It produced a nice sized puddle on the floor.

Well, I quickly drained my oil catch can and took my car to my indy mechanic and he said that it wasn't leaking bad enough to fix it. I told him that it left a giant puddle on the ground and he said it only looks like a slight leak. He obviously didn't see the puddle.

Well, I get home after driving it, toss a giant piece of cardboard underneath it and come out several hours later to find no more oil on the ground.

My queestion: Is the rear main seal fine and/or did I do any damage to it by not emptying the can?

if its a minor leak try auto-rx on it.
