Just tryin to get an opinion on what kind of spark plugs everyone uses and which brands everyone think is the best for the Max. Should I just stick with OEMs???

no, get some iridium plugs. Last longer, and perform better than platinum.

this was in the stickies.... all you had to do was read them..... its there for a reason..

^ those are the only plugs that you should use in your car.... depending on what year...

and what preference.... Cu, Platinum , Iridium...

Cu last less cost less.... 30k interval... if you dont mind changing them out... then this is a great choice... its what alot of people are doing

the platinum is what the car came with..... much more expensive... and last till 60k or 80k... i forgot.... an overkill if you ask me.... not worth the price..... once again.... personal pref.

and the iridiums last the longest... around 100k? and cost the same as the platinum...

ngk, cheap and in the 5th gen it's easy to change 'em so it's not too much of a pain to do them yearly.

5.5 gen, different story.
