Tallest tire for 19" wheels u can fit on 5th Gen?

what's the tallest tire you can fit with 19' wheels on a 5th Gen (I35)?
I know the recommended tire size is 235-35-19 but can you fit a 235-40-19 or 235-45-19?
Has anyone done it? Thanks!

G35's 19s come with 235-40-19 would these fit without rubbing?

They should fit. Very nice rims also!

I'm running 245/35/19 but am thinking of switching to 245/40/19 the only thing is that the rear rubs on dips at high speeds right now. but I also have 15mm spacers w/out fenders rolled.

Best of luck

did he roll his fenders or did any modification so the tires don't rub on top?

Why not just get 245/35 like Jess and call it a day?

Rolled fenders.

What offset are you running. That's a BIG question.

i'm looking to get a taller tire. I already got 235/35/19's wrapping my wheels. I need more meat between the wheels and the road.

What's the advantage of bigger tires? easier to get over speed bumps/potholes?

LoL exactly. I mean I will keep the 19's but have the 17s for daily. I should have not sold my GLE wheels grrr! It was nice not hearing or feeling the road.

BTW gian13 post pics of it when you get the wheels on. I always like to see those 19s on a 5.5gen

Well 245/35 is still taller than 235/35 assuming these are both going on a 19" wheel... but whatever
