Fog light swap from 02 to 01

I have a 02, but want to swap out my fog lights to 00-01 fogs. Reason, seems like glass fogs break too easy.....I rather have plastic. does anybody know if they fit? any suggestions will gladly appeciate..

you can get laminx things to protect the fog lights...both of mine are cracked and one has a tiny hole in it (don't know how it got the hole) and i have clear laminx over it and it's held up pretty well for the past couple years.

that's where i got mine.

if you have the regular glass fogs such as the 02 and 03 have you can do this mod.

or you could buy some lamin-x for the fogs. tough film that lasts long and it doesnt melt to the fogs either. when i had them before my accident i used my fog lights day and night. and after the wreck i took em off. now that i took em off, i got a crack in my fogs 5 months after i took em off

I guess they don't fit then, well I'm not doing a replacement on 02-03 fogs. I'm better off getting some 00-01 fogs that won't break, or at least last longer. Even if I have to do some mods like cutting holes , I guess everything is possible. My plans r to put a HID kit, the beam output seams to be better then the 02-03. And has a better look match, is good with headlamps. AGREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they will not fit because the 00-01 fogs are smaller in diameter than the 02-03 fogs and different mounting brackets. I mean, you will be able to stick them in the hole but they will look and out of place beeing so much smaller. but if you want to go ahead and mount them, or you can swap out the bumber cover from and 00-01 max and everything would be ok.

Thank alot for your'e help, going to do some homework on this. I got to take this in consideration, if I swap out the bumper I have to swap out the grill and maybe headlamps.
