As the title implies, my 01 Grey Lustre SE met with a suicidal deer the other day. Looking for input on headlight replacement. Should I replace the black housed angel-eye projectors with HIDs that I had, upgrade to 02-03 HIDs, or AE style?

 

Really just a matter of personal preference and how much you're willing to spend...

 

no point in getting 2k2 HID if you have suicidal deers camping for you... and ebay projector light output is too weak. so I would just go with OEM ae halogen

 

Could get complete pair of 02 HIDs for $540. Worth it if I do the umnitza halos maybe...

 

eBay projectors + E46 projector swap ($100) = lighting > OEM +02 or AE + HID kit

 

Do you do this swap? Or know who does for $100? is that a swap for the both headlights? PM me with some details...

Still open for other suggestions, recommendations, or just a lecture on headlights (You know you gotta say something Sooner )

 

I mean the new projectors cost $100, and can be swapped in by drilling new holes on the projector bracket inside the eBay headlights.

 

I think I'm gonna go for 2k2/2k3 headlights...if still available. Thanks guys. This thread is dead
