leather install

does anyone know how to hook up power and heated leather seats to a 2002 maxima that currently has cloth and power in the drivers side only

Very Very carefully I would say. I dont know alot about it but to take a guess I'd say do a cross member and run hot from the driver side to the passenger side and then run a ground. Get the same fitment (or piece/connector) as the driver side. Splice that up and then plug it in. Just a wild guess though. When you find out PM me.

I know next to the ebrake there are like slots to run certain extra accessories, im not sure if thats where the heated seats button is on the 02 that comes stock with that option. Anyhow gl sounds like a fun install.

Depending on your options, you maybe pre-wired, then everything is plug and play.

the seat power itself (not the heater) is extremly easy. all it needs is a fused +12 volts and a ground.

should be self explanatory...you plug the harness to the only places it could go...the switch and the seat

I have leather seats but i wanted to add the heated feature and have my motor work so that it could slide the seat back and forth. Should i replace the whole seat or just get a new motor for the seat to slide again, and just buy the parts for the heat feature? I have an '02 gle
