Next ride might NOT be a Nissan

I have owned nissans since '91 from a 240sx to a 300zxtt to a pathfinder and 2 maximas, thats 5 nissans in less than 10 years. I also owned couple german cars now which includes a '00 A4, now the newly Tuned version of the new A4 keeps coming out. I just might not get the new 260hp max or the the new 240hp altima, because the new A4 will look bad-azz with just big wheels and springs. It might not be as fast as the nissans but i rather live with a quality interior now. Guess im getting older now and its time to move up-market. Plus its only going to be couple grand more. I actually paid about the same for both my A4 and 00'Max SE.... I know nissans will always be faster even after i have mods in the A4, but for the same price why would i get a nissan???

I was just gonna add if they make the Q45 for 40Gs i might be influenced, but not for the 50G+ they charge for now.

a4 prices

I agree the A4 is NICE!!! Classy looking, sporty, beautiful colors. I don't know about prices being the same. The 2002 1.8T is $4-5g more than a equipped Maxima. The 3.0 tested in Car and Driver was almost $40g. Spend a bit more and you get the S4

The 1.8T is capable of being much faster than a Max.
I have a customer with a turbo upgrade, FMIC, intake, exhaust, and ECU and he dyno's 360 hp at the wheels at 1 bar of boost (14.5 psi).

are the next gen of A4's as mod-able as the previous gen? no significant changes to the 1.8 engine right?
