ecu question

ecu question

has anyone found a way to reprogram the ecu on a 2k max {auto}I have done every bolt on avaliable. and now i think the ecu is next on the list.

no, but you can use the emanage ultimate. that's what I'd do if you're looking for ecu control.

I asked this question as well on the 4th gen sub forum. Anyone use the Romulator with the Max? It is priced a little more reasonable..

what can u control with these?Do you need a laptop for it also?whats the cost?was there a big improvement in hp/tq

I googled Emanage Ultimate. It looks not too bad. The price is a bit crazy. At least in my mind. I do my own for my other vehicle for 5$ in chips and a 60$ board. I guess we pay out the backside for plug and play.

I would look at the standalone MegaSquirtII for +200$ before the emanage ultimate, myself.

i am also interested in an ECU for my 2k....... can an EU do the samething as and ECU, can it cut the rev limit also?
