ABS and TCS

well i dont know how to start, but as i was driving of to work, i put the car in drive and the car stood still, i gave it a little gas when i realized the RR wheel was locked up, then i hit myself in the forhead because i left my hand break up in a 19 degree weather last night. im taking it that the breaks were frozen, but after pooring hot water on the caliper, nothing happen, i tried driving at about 3mph hoping i would have cracked it loose but again nothing happen, when i tried reversing back into my spot, the ABS light and TC light came on, the TC saying TCS OFF, now this is the first time these lights ever came on ever since all 3 off my maxima's and now i dont know what to do, i've done a search, an got a lil info from the 4th gen guys, but im not fixing this myself, so i guess my question is that how do i get the brake to unlock so i can take it to a shop? and for guys thats been through this what was you problem and solution? thanks

Depends on how "locked" the caliper is. On my '99 i had the same problem. I just reached behind the rotor and pulled e-brake mechanism to release the brake. I used WD-40 to keep it from happening again and it was fine after that.

If the piston is seized in place from the heat that was caused by the rubbing, time for a new caliper.....pretty cheap at napa.....

If the ABS system is seeing one wheel not turning (especially at all) while the other three are, it'll get a bit 'confused', which is likely why it popped the lights at you.

Is the cable itself that's seized up, or the caliper? Try taking off the cable, and forcing the parking brake lever to the disengaged position.
