I hate to tell ya, but Cisco's rims are way out of a student's budget too. They're nice and I like them a lot, but if you've got a good financial backing, it's gonna take a long time to save for them...I'm struggling to do so myself.
poor student here, too. You can buy a brand new set of 17" Enkei's w/tires from discounttiredirect.com around $1,000 shipped to your door, or get a used set from someone here around $800. Someone offered me a 16" used set for around $400, but I rec'd my tuition bill...it sucks to own a Max and not being able to mod it.
Re: Which is a Good Wheel to get
Are you on steel wheels?
What's your budget?
If not budget constrained, what are you looking for in a wheel?
New, I guess you could figure $100/wheel and $100/tire for $800 for an $800 set as a starting point.
The absolute cheapest thing that I've come across that would fit the maxima is OEM Mustang wheels in 16x7.5 for $39ea, but you'd have a pony centercap (www.victoriatire.com).

Go to www.whalentire.com or www.wheelmax.com they are about the cheapest with the most to choose from...
Re: Re: Re: Which is a Good Wheel to get
The Mustang wheels that I'm referring to are alloy wheels. The base 5 spoke with the large centercap with the running pony.
Since Mustang wheels are so plentiful, it may be worthwhile to visit http://home.satx.rr.com/jasonr/wheels.html

pu-lease with spending $$ on Mustang Rims. Go to tirerack.com, and discounttiredirect.com
they have very nice packages for Maxima feat Nitto rims starting somewhere close to $700. for 16". You could get OEM 5-spoke 16" on EBAY (in abundance) for $350/set. Tires will cost $200 more. If you're on the budget, there are so many options, but it is very stupid to throw out more than a $1000 for a set.
