Bank 2 not firing at idle when warm
I have an 02 with an idle issue. I have read every thread on misfires and nobody seemed to have the same issue. Ill start with some history. About 4 months ago I got the 0021 code for the bank 2 IVT solenoid. I took it out and found it was sticking so I cleaned it up, put it back in and cleared the codes. It stayed off for 3 months. The 0021 came back on and then about 2 days later I started getting a rough idle only when warm. If I leave it idling Ill get the blinking MIL and a 0300 for multiple misfires. I figured I had bad plugs, coils, or injectors and went to change plugs and found oil in no.5 tube so I thought that might be the issue. I got the 6th gen valve cover and put that on. I also tested all 6 coils and injectors with a meter and all seemed to be good. New plugs in and same issue. Then I started unplugging coils one by one. I pulled no. 2 and no change, pulled no. 4 and no change, pulled no. 6 and no change. Then I pulled no. 5 coil (the only bank 1 I could reach) and it almost died. The fronts do have spark, it just seems the timing is off. The weird thing is, it only does it when warm. When cold I can pull any front coil and notice a drop in idle. The only codes I have as of now are the 0021 and 0300. Could the IVT solenoid be causing the misfires when warm or do I have a plugged cat, bad gas, dieing O2 sensor, or some other issue? Did I mention its only during idle when warm? I have plenty of power while driving. I have a new MAF and that didn’t change anything. I have also tried to do the idle relearn many times but have not been successful. What is the ECU looking at during closed loop vs. open loop and what is causing my rough idle when warm? Thanks for any input, I need to get this fixed.

I hate to sound like the dealer here, but I would change the IVT solenoid, and if that doesn't help, CP#5. These type of sensors are known to 'check out' within spec, and still be faulty. Of course, change the cheaper part 1st.
One other alternative would be to test out the other 2 coils in question (rear bank, underneath the IM)

Ill see about changing the IVT solenoid too but anyone have any more ideas?

Maybe the cam sensor? I would pay attention to the codes, in your case, particularly the 0021. So, go from there and see.
These cars are fairly communicative, meaning they really do tell you when something is wrong (typically). And in your case, it seems clear as to where to start.

Replace that solenoid, stop cleaning it. It's faulty and you gotta go first with what's obvious.
When engine cold it runs in closed loop, meaning ECM controlls fuel mixture. When worm it monitores o2 sensors etc and adjust fuel mixture.
What year is it though BTW. I think 00-01 have a TSB for main harness having opens and they tell you to wigle it and check if it runs ok
