Window tint

Been thinking about having my windows tinted but don't want the "black" look. Any suggestions as to type & color?

For black Max, try NS-20, or TG-21 from Madico.

you can always go with a ghapite look, smoke look, bronze look, white look, purple look, all KINDS of looks

w/a darker car, you can have a dark tint, cops wont spot much difference..as long as you dont make it "too bronze" mirror-like...I had to take my tint 2 times, man.

anywayz i'm in Irvine, can't take chances here. Cops got nothing to do they'll give any ticket here... last time I heard somebody got ticket for Jwalking and before that some kid riding bike w/o helmet...

My Max is grey lustre with the light grey interior. Wanted tinting to deflect some of the hot NM sun.

Is window tint illegal?

actually, if you roll your windows down, then cops can compared against your rear window....mine was 10% platinum. Wazzup

Depends upon the state and what windows are tinted.

Here in NJ it's legal to apply tint on the rear passenger windows
and the back window. No tint is allowed in the windshield and front
windows.

do you open your door when you have to back up? 5% is a limo tint. Looks phat though

Yep, you gotta look out the front window when making a left-hand turn. But, you get used to it!

I might tint my car again for the 3rd time..this time it'll be legal..film shall be 40%..what fil you guys recommend for sunlit sand?

So what do you all recommend for my Grey Lustre,frost interior that is legal & will deflect the sun??

whatever u do...

i suggest going the same all around...i wasnt on the org then but nobody else gave me tips about tinting when i got it done....my rear tint is mirror-like [dunno, platinum?] and u couldnt see through head on if u wanted to, even w/ a light, it juss shines back....but my front i didnt do as dark cuz of 5-0 and stuff......basic point, doesnt look as good as it could have...i say go darkest and try not to get pulled over...cop rolls by, turn on the dome light and pretend like ur reading directions....

Again, standards differ from state-to-state. In MD, the home of 35%, I'm not going to risk again... I'll put on 40% film that will give 35% total..btw I heard cops cant pull you over just for having a dark tint..has to be smthg else..I had a tinted rear tag cover.
