Couple of questions for my online friends...

Ok..help a brother out please.

1. The fuse on the positive side of my battery died. The car still starts and everything functions fine BECAUSE i have the big 3 done and as such, have a direct connection to the alt. Is it necessary to replace that fuse or no?

2. Sometimes when i start my car, cold or not, the engine seems like it wants to jump out of the hood...my whole front end rattles and shakes. Any solution to this or is this just how it is when its "dry"?

3. This happened today...if i rev my engine and let the rpms drop, while its dropping i hear clunking or grinding noise. Does this also mean its "dry"?

Thank youuuuuuuu

From: Auburn WA,
Bad engine mounts?

Track down why that fuse popped. Maby something to do with the wiring you've done.

1) I'd definitely replace that fuse. It blew for a reason. Now that there's no circuit protection the next time there's a surge it could damage a lot of other components.

2 & 3) How many miles are on the car? These may or may not be related. Motor mounts, valve clearances, oil pump... not really enough info here to diagnose. It could be something as simple, it could be worse...

Car has 55k miles. Fuse could have something to do with the wiring but its been running fine and im not sure when it blew so who knows how long ive been driving around like that. Not sure about the motor mounts, valve clearances or oil pump. How would i check that? I dont have any extra vibration in the car nor oil loss/burning.
