moisture in tank

moisture in tank

i have a thread that pertains to pinging .... sometimes .... would moisture in the tank cause that? as this is the time of the yr when the days are warm and nights cold .... any suggestions?

If you mean water in the gas tank, how about trying a can of Dry Gas or STP Water Remover at your next fill up? If that doesn't help, then maybe try a different gas station????

also, keep your tank full

less gas in the tank means more space for condensation to form. Keep your tank full (don't go below 1/4 tank)

so would mositure contribute to my pinging ...since dealer cant find what is causing it ?

might be a dumb question, but your using 91 and up octane gas right?Id definitly buy a bottle or 2 of gas treatment w/ water remover and put in your next two fill ups...thats all my brain can contribute to your problem..
