turbo timers for supercharged maximas.....

does anyone here with a supercharge have a turbo timer for their max?????
my friend just bought one for his supercharged max but he oesnt really know how to wire it...
any advices?

Nope.


It'll cool down the oil and other parts after hard runs (before shutting off the car).

it is not necessary for superchargers like turbos, but it still helps the supercharger cool down better.....
anyways, he got on already, so his decision......
anyone know anything about the turbo timers?

so are you goys sure that a turbo timers is not needed at all
it doesnt do anything?????
cuz i am assuming that it will help cool the SC better after hard driving.....
better tell my friend soon if it is really not useful at all
so he can go exchange

I'm not using it because I can't justify the cost. It does help though...

I think it should help very little, but not much to make a big difference, since a S/C is a bit diffenet than a tubo (exhaust gas) the benefit is not a great, but I think it looks cool, and adds to the intimidating factor. I ordered one a while back and will be installing it pretty soon, I mainly want it b/c it has a gtech feature and it will be wired in and placed in my glove box most likely so it will be out of the way.
