03 Max strut question.

ok, everytime i drive out of an alley, where a change in elevation occurs from alley to road, on RIGHT turn only as my right wheel enters the little ditch, and comes out it makes a noise.. sounds like rubber.. so with car parked, wheels straight and turned to the left, push the pass. side down you dont hear anyhting, with wheels turned right, pushing it down and like shaking the car, you hear the noise.. i can record a video if it'll help..
anyway, what can that noise be? strut bearing? sounds like rubber is stretching or rubber meets metal... that best describes it..

what do you think ?

thats the same noise that i had in both my 2001 and my current 2003.. i described it as more of a rubbing noise, but i know what you're talking about.. and it's only when the wheel is turned a certain direction while going over a bump.. i don't think i ever got a definitive answer, so i would be interested as well to know what this problem is

I'm trying to identify the prob myself w/out having to do the strut replacement.. I bought these (see pic below meesage) and will replace them as soon as they are delivered. I will post updates.

any other replies are welcome and would be VERY helpful.

I just recently had the same problem with my 03 Max. I ended up replacing the front strut mounts on both sides. This seemed to take care of the problem with the noise in the suspension. Now I notice that I have a little bump steer with my car. It seems like this is more common with the 02-03 Maximas, or maybe its just me with my foot always in the gas!

Well, i'm sure NEW struts would take care of the problem. But the struts/ shocks are fine. I can live w/ the little noise if it'll cost me $400 to get rid of it, you know ? I'll replace the rubber pieces and we'll see what happens.

thanks all.
