Trans Mount (Location)
#2
Engine/tranny mounts are located on all 4 ends of the engine.
1 next to the Fr exhaust manifold, 1 next to the starter (under airbox), 1 near the R manifold, and 1 near the PS fluid reservoir.
Why, what's the problem? tThe one that sits on top the starter might be the one you're trying to look for since it sits closest to the tranny area.

I was told that I needed to replace my Trans Mount and was debating if I should undertake this task. I already replace the rear one but I paid 60$ to install it, just wanted to save some money if I am able to install it myself.
it sounds like i may be able to.

In our Maxima world, tranny mounts = motor mounts and vice versa. The 'rear' mount is a PITA. Do a search, there are members that have done this on their own and also have been kind enough to document the process as well.
