help... transmission issues

so my transmission has been slipping a lil bit not shifting from 2nd - 3rd....nothing major just a little....BUT today i went out and it wouldnt shift into 3rd i was at like 7000 before it finally slammed into 3rd gear. i have a 2000 automatic any ideas or help?

Any SES lights, if so, what codes? Maybe TCM & / or solenoids.

threads titled
"help"
"a few questions"
etc

those mean nothing...most threads are people with questions needing help. if you really want help, help us by giving more info in the title and giving all the info in the body of the post.

this happened to me when it was colder out, was spiking when shifting from 2nd to 3rd (AT)...this stopped once it got above 32 degrees...weird

IIRC... I read something about cleaning a (and this is gonna sound funny cause I dont remember exactly) Rev Speed Sensor??? Or Speed Revolution Sensor???

I forget... theres a thread or a thread with links on cleaning this somewhere if you search a bit though.

happened to me. i used lucas transmission fix and it would still do it whenever it was cold out. eventually it started skipping gears and it was time for a new tranny. it might be that time for you.
