if all your electronics turn on correctly (radio, headlights, fan, etc.) its not the battery. more than likely its teh starter, how many miles do you have on it? when you turn the key does it just buzzzzzzzz, and no cranking right? if that is the case it's the starter. if you hit the start with a metal stick (i used the stick that came with the spare tire). hit it a few times and try to start it, and mean like direct hard hits, not just taps. if it works then replace your starter.

Read the how-2's and replace it yourself. Its pretty easy. Get a used one from a junkyard or a re-manufactured one from autozone or advance auto parts.

yeah replace it asap it's easy, i'd say go to autozone for it. you can keep hitting it, but eventually if wont work anymore. be safe than sorry. it's not super expensive if you do it yourself, which is very easy. good luck!

yeah so i havent replaced the started yet,but i noticed lately,it only happens when the car has been running for 15 minutes or longer, basically after its up to operating tempeture, one weird thing though,i leave the key in and try restarting it within a minute,it starts no problem but if i take the key out,and wait more than 30 seconds, iwont start and today i had to turn the damn thing 35 times before it started....is this def signs of a starter?

If your car has 125,000 on it and the starter was never replaced...I can almost guarantee that's what your problem is. I had the same symptoms before mine was replaced last month.

Try Jumping Your Car. (if your car starts with not problem when doing this you know its the battery) now if it still has trouble then you go to your starter.

Take your Battery to be Tested.

Yeah i think im going to try jumping it first lol, i know for a fact the battery in the car is NOT the battery thats suppose to be there because the tie down is too small for the current battery, maybe ill look into that, then determine whether its the starter
