hard to wire? or did you just cut the wires for the fog light bulbs and run them to the ballast? looks great

it took me less than 30 minutes to install the fogs. They had connectors premade so no splicing/cutting was required.

You guys still dislike this look?

I've mentioned a few times in this thread that I think body color looks very plain...

Haven't you guys noticed that almost all of the newer sporty nissans like the alitima SE-R and the new altima coupe, even the GTR all come with blacked out grilles? They finally got it right on those cars and I'm just correcting their mistakes.

I am definately not putting any carbon fiber crap on this car unless it's a replacement part and it gets painted along with the car.

I am on the hunt for a stillen classic lip, though!

i like that look black grill and lights. works well together.

--- Might think about the smoked corners too (+1) to blend in more (see pic).
You have the same color right? ---- Also Blackout trim tape.... makes a subtle
touch of sportiness. I really wished Nissan kept the Blacked Out Trim on SE
models.... oh well.

I've considered smoking the sidemarkers, but you haven't seen how they look at night, either... If I smoke them, they will look dimmer and have some nasty colors near the corners when the big LEDs come on.

those smoked corners i have on my car light up EXACTLY how clear corners would. they are from ebay, the actual pre-smoked corners so they have no effect on the light since there is no film over the lights.

yes, but notice how they look black at the corners and all around the light when they are on? That is exactly what I'm trying to avoid. My ENTIRE sidemarkers lights up bright and uniform in color. if I smoke it, it will look like yours

My rear ones are alot more legal than yours are.

You can see the front of my car from 5 miles away wearing sunglasses, I doubt I'd ever get pulled over b/c the light coming from the front of my car is white instead of yellow

my rears reflect and light up red without a bunch of black crap blocking all the light. thanks.

Like I said, I doubt I'll ever get pulled over for lack of yellow lighting on the front of my car.

in this picture....the flash from a point and shoot camera about 8 feet away...makes it reflect like there isnt even paint on it...if you didnt know they were completely black, you wouldnt be able to tell from the pic.

ok...back to you...im not gonna have another lighting legality argument

judging by how dim your fronts light up, I hightly doubt the rears are any brighter.

Either way, why argue about it? We each modded our cars how we wanted to. There's a very low likelyhood that either of us would get pulled over for improper equipment. That should be enough.

It's so sweet of you to try to save me from the illegality my clear fronts, though, soonermom

Sooner, what kind of rear bulbs are those and where can I get them ? I'm cleared front and rear but my rears are kinda too pink for me at night.

***the pic below is old and not current with the clear corners

regular... The housing of the headlight does not get hot enough to warrant special paint or something.

I'd love to order some 5.5gen headlamps so that I can AE them, but afraid I'd f up the paint job.
The 2k ones were ok since you're just rubbing the chrome off.
