Agreed, probably would have been nice with 00-01 SE tails

and a chrome bulb that flashes amber for the turn signal

not that it would be that hard to make them look like SE tails....but some has their head on straight cause they are a hell of alot better then the stillen design.

I wonder why they decided to make them now? Cause over on my Saturn forums, the S-series saturns just got a huge backing in aftermarket parts. everything from headlights to taillights to a full set of coilovers. Strange as the market isn't really booming right now

i think they should've done L.E.D. turns as well. Half and half looks funny to me. definitely a set up from the stillen.

I hate the all red look maybe cuz I have a merlot car and I like a little contrast. I would buy them if they were cleared out then throw about a 30% tint on them. I do think it sucks that they didnt use LED's for the blinkers. They just came out though I'm sure they will offer more styles at some point.

They should have gone with clear instead of all red on the outside so people have the option of doing overlays/tints for color or leaving them clear.

I don't understand why all the aftermarket tail lights look so similar to the stock lights. None of them deviate from the basic design save for a few LED bulbs thrown in there.

Why can't we get something more badass and creative, like the 6th genners just got:

I installed these on my car 2 days ago. My car is a GXE originally so i dont mind the color. And in IMO the red looks good on a black car.

The red does look pretty good on the car. Take some night shots if you get a chance and maybe put the camera on a box and set a timer so its a clear image. Mine always blurs on me too....

Armon I have been wondering that same thing too. My buddy has a 07 G35S and I looove his tail lights. I wonder how hard it would be to re-create with the maxima housing.

I like the SE 00/01 ones like sooner has. IMO, they look sweet, even on the light colored cars. I have a set that i will be putting on my 03 TE soon.

Those are the ebay lights from the beg of this thread. No fitment issues whats so ever. I tried taking night photos but the leds are so close together that they merge/blur into each other. The photos i posted above are actually my second attempt right around dusk. Its an 8 mega pixel camera i tried with flash without flash etc etc theyre just hard to take photos of. Look great though.

* Im sure the manufacturer will make them in the SE housing soon.

Hey um i would be willing to a set of 00 and up tails with leds. I have been doing them for 4th gens but i want to get into the 5 and 5.5 gens. Anyone thats interested let me know. For being the first there would be a substantial discount on labor and all i would charge would be for parts required to make them.

I have not seen this exact style of LED tails for the 5th Gens though its similar to the other styles.
I figured I'd share the rice.

to each thier own , not my style by far.

I have seen a black set of LED taillights for 00-03 maximas. Unfortunetly I can't fond the site that they sell them on. They were more of a smoke/red with few LEDs. Nothing special and very overpriced at around 350

not into tail lights or corner lights or interior lights, plate led light in the back yeah but thats it, i know its the finer details that makes the difference but sometimes simplicity of stock parts is the sh*t
