Pop charger vs. drop-in filter

Pop charger vs. drop-in filter
I was wondering what difference in h.p. increase there is between a drop-in K&N air filter and a pop filter charger made by JWT or Stillen? The JWT site suggests a 4 h.p. increase for either one. I really don't care about the added growl and intake noise the pop charger will provide. I assume the drop-in filter does not affect this. I also do not like the idea of taking out my stock air box and modifying anything. Also, does either affect the quality of filtration that the engine receives? Is the drop-in-filter less likely to void my factory warranty?
Thanks as always!

If you want real results, and don't mind spending $60 more, go with the pop charger. There is no comparison to be made b/w your options, so don't bother trying. You either want the real thing or you don't. I've been very pleased with the pop charger and the installation was not bad at all; I left my air duct in place. You'll be thrilled with the growl and aggressive sound, as well as the power increase. It feels like way more than 4, as advertised.
Good luck, but for the bucks..go with the pop charger. I put a K & N drop in in my older Max, and except for a ever so faint whisper, you can't even tell it is there.
