Alright, so i just fixed my VIAS...

Alright, yesterday i reinstalled my JB welded VIAS in hope that it would fix my problem i am having wit the car. The cup was welded stationary and left overnight with Kwik. Anyways, i expected this to resolve the troubles i am having with my acceleration but no.

What is causing my car to just in a way stop accelerating after 3500 RPM's?!

Is this something to do with maybe a clogged cylinder or?!

Literally i will accelerate and if i don't put the pedal to the medal the car will just accelerate fast to 3000 but then all of a sudden slow down and i will in a way be pushed forward as a result of the loss in power...

Anyone?!

Thanks,

Ti

It can be two things, either your MAF is going or your ignition coils may be wearing away. Im stuch with the same issue and since Ive changed a faulty coil it didnt solve the problem for me so Im zeroing in on my MAF.

Yep, might not be a bad idea to replace ALL the coils too especially if they don't have a grey dot on them.

OKay soooo.. I drive down to Car Quest last night, where with my dads discount i ordered the new MAF for 93$ to come in around this time. I get in the Max, drive out of the parking lot, and as i am shifting from 2nd to 3d, i feel no lag.. nothing... What the hell.

I just took it on the highway to double check, and i easily brought the car up to 5-5.500 rpms up to 90mph and i am not having the problem. Why?!

Soo long story short, does it take maybe a little bit for the VIAS to actually realize its fixed? Because yesterday and today i am not having any trouble at higher rpm's.

Anyone have this experience?

They are going to hold it for a week just in case..
