Nobody has AGXs on a 5th gen and very few have modified the 4th gen Konis to a 5th gen. However, I think this is a GOOD question to be answered, since I plan on getting the AGXs modified to fit a 5th gen.

i've been hearing bad things about agx from honda owners.. but then again the strut may vary since it's for a diff car.. but the GAB's are supposidly really good.. thena gain we dont' get that kinda "good" stuff for our cars.

My experience with the AGX and Koni Yellows...
Mind you, this is with CRXs...
I had installed the 5-way AGXs. I road race/autocross quite a bit. These shocks suck for this. Their limited adjustments are far too minumal to properly tune the suspension.
However, they are GREAT replacement shocks. They are cheap and offer a good performance. If you track your car a lot, you're better off spending more more.
Konis. I love them. The semi-infinite adjustability to the damper is beautiful. they are quite stiff for a daily driver, but offer superb performance. The only problem is that you have to remove the shock from the car and compress the shock to adjust (unless you get the top mount adjustment, which cost more and i don't believe they offer them for the Maxima). Plus, you have to cut your shocks to fit them...some people are uneasy about this.
Go with AGXs if you just need a better damper for the lower ride height.
Go with the Konis if you plan on racing a lot.
hope this helps.
