PRCAI tip
An easy way to check on your CAI is to remove the side marker. It is way easier than taking the fender cover off. I also used this to tighten the CAI to the pipe. Easier to get a nut driver in that hole.
5gens w/CAI: look in the side marker hole and see if your CAI touches the rear fender cover. Mine does and I put weather stripping there to slow damage to the filter. If others have that problem I'll contact PR. Maybe we can get a new pipe or something.

need blueprints
we need someone to make blueprints if you want to go that route. I can't accuratley measure the bends. What I can tell you is it is 3" pipe. The filter section is 2 parts welded together, each with its own curve. (2 elbows welded together). The K&N filter is model RU-2820. The upper tube is 3" also plus a little tube to connect to vaccume lines. Good luck.

Also theMax, I know you have to drill a 3" hole in the fender, now the cone actually sits inside that fender? How does it get air "forced" into the cone then? Just dont know how it works.

Yep drilled a 3" hole next to battery tray
This is a cold air intake not a ram air intake. No forced air.
BTW the filter is a cylinder not a cone.
