i dont like it....and why do you have blue and purple?

 

it's...weird but kinda new.
for me, I don't really care about the color b/c I don't even look at them, and I don't drive my car in the dark a lot.

 

is that a 00-01?
because the 02-03 is a little less green.
i didnt like the green on my 00-01 and changed them to blue. on my 02, im ok with the color.

Not a fan of the purple, but props for converting to LEDs. I have blue LEDs in my window switches.

Looks cool, very unique! Haven't messed around with my window switches yet, I think it's a lot harder to do than anywhere else. Everything else in my car is blue though.

the red is hot, the reason i went with purple is coz my headlights are purple too, i'm still working on the whole inside

I don't think I ever made a real write-up, but it was done with LEDs, obviously, wired into the factory interior lighting.

Here was how the climate control unit was done:

you have to take it all apart and drill little holes into the clear plastic frame inside and stick the LEDs in there, and then wire it all up however works for you. Get a junkyard unit. I broke mine on the first try and you really have to be VERY careful and VERY handy with your drill.

I also did some leds in the bottom light tht shines on the ashtray in much the same manner..

Purple is not bad but you should try to keep it one color and uniformed. The blue makes the purple look pink.

I like the idea. Dont like the color. Purple reminds me of Jetta's.
