Well, i see chromies on this little civic coupe. It's the heavier model (EX trim) and the guy says it's a B16A (pretty common)...To my understanding, a B16A powered EG should be in the 14s. He's really trying to get me to race. I'm hesistant at first since it's a bad cop area. The speed is 35mph and I'm doing 50mph and he's trying to push his little civic hard. We come up to a red light and i got the right lane, he's got the middle. He pops his hood and does something to his motor (his intake made an odd sound i never heard of; no, not turbo...maybe JRSC?). The light turns green and he pulls at first, until the needle sweeps by 4000rpm i pull on him and shift at redline, his front bumper is at my door. The needle sweeps past 4000rpm again and the max pulls hard, he's at my rear bumper, I shift into third and pull two cars on him almost immediately and i pull in front of him and then into the left lane, flicker my hazards on a few times to announce his defeat by a family car.

He flies by me like typical sore losers while i brake to slow to the speed limit. He gets about half a mile before pulling over and he sticks his hand out, showing four fingers (indicating his 4 cylinder)... i was tempted to stop and show him the weight of the maxima compared to his 2500-2700lb EG. but, i had places to go.

I don't feel great about beating a lesser car with a lesser engine, i just felt the need to share. Now, when i beat a v6 Mustang or v6 Camaro... god will i be throwing flames at that guy.

 

He is lying. a b16 powered honda is pretty quick, if he had one and had mods he might be able to beat you. I said he might. I hate civics anyway.
Did he point out the four fingers to show you that four beat a six? I hate when you kill a cra in a race and when you slow down they race by and act like they one. Society these days. People just cant let go.

 

Man... that civic is really stupid when they already know that Maxima is V-6 family car, and of course it generate more power. But how the %$$&*( ..... Well he just feel stupid.. Man way to go man.. just show the Honda what is Nismo power.
