Energy Suspension Front Control Arm Bushing rumor

So i had ordered front end poly Energy Suspension bushings. Today one of the local .org member cautioned me that the energy suspension bushings cause his loc to fall off. I didnt quite understand other than "Dont Do It" Also, in winter i had slightlyyyy rough shifting of my 6MT, and now i am about to put amsoil in it (i dont think i have hearts to do pan drop, perhaps just drain and refill @ 61K miles), so keeping that in mind, will Shifter bushings help or actually make the shifting in New England weather further challenging ?

Finally, any thoughts on Subframe and Sway bar bushings. I was told control arm ones are most challenging and labor expensive. Anyone has idea what to expect about others ?

Secondly, can anyone suggest me besides our Go to guy in MA to get these done. Kevin is leaving his garage, so if you guys know of someone i can go to who can help me, itll be great. THANKS

1. i dont understand how the ES bushing could cause anything to "fall off"
2. the shifter bushings could only help...makes shifts more exact and sure (less looseness in shifter)

What is an "loc"?

If anything happened from his ES bushings it is most likely due to a faulty install on his part or the shops part. There really isn't much to the bushings themselves...

I'm up here in the great white north and the shifter bushings are a must as far as I am concerned. No problems even at -40C

-40 degrees C? Holy *****! I could never live there, or even visit.

<--considering the shifter bushings. The control arms and mounts were great tho. This was probably one of my most surprising mods.GL

Need more on these poly LCA bushings.. I am about to swap my front struts and also plan on installing my Stage 2 LTB in the next few weeks. Should I swap these poly's in at 42k while everything else is loose?. Mind you I just swapped the sway bar bushings and they were in pretty decent shape.. Not much wear at all.

Thanks,
