how do i take the side mirrors apart?

can someone please tell me how to take the mirrors apart (not from the door) like take it out piece by piece coz mine look like crap and i want to paint them without breaking them

you will have to take the door panels apart and unscrew from the inside

search for a thread on installing heated side mirrors or lookin the howto sticky for it

in the howto it shows u how 2 take apart side mirror

tried it the link takes me to some discussion about doom3 and win xp sp2

go to google
go to advanced search
put in heated side mirror install
and at the bottom you can restrict the search engine to a website
type maxima.org
hope that helps, its the only way i ever find stuff fromt his forum when searching

no i'm not that good painter i had to sand and do over 5 times before i got it nice
