OK.....had driven the car in the morning, no problems. Later that afternoon, shy of 4k rpm under +50% throttle, she seems to either have massive power loss, causing the tranny to want to change gears,
or
The tranny attempts the gearshift and the toque coverter catches only a little and the info link between the tranny and engine tries to get the engine to spool for the shift.
Seems to pull fine till it gets close to 4k. Also started stalling at lights after this. Smoothest stall I've ever encountered......but that is besides the point. It's going to the dealer on Tues, but they are a buncha monkeys here.
Any help?

did you notice the engine pinging at all when you felt the power loss? It will sound like a bunch of marbles in a tin can. I don't know if that would be enough to cause the tranny to upshift though. But still, sounds like you have something screwy going on with either the tranny, the engine, or both...

Dark Matter can honestly make circles around Assassin.
Trap speeds approaching 120mph, 119.2 being the closest before the DE-DET Hybrid motor was installed.

If Honda can do it, why not Nissan ?
Just do the research and you'll find amazing things about every motor and some common ground to work with
