Clanging sound when turning

I've noticed this sound when I'm turning right in the parking garage. It sounds like it's coming from the front driver side. It only happens when I turn sharply, and slowly. It's a clanging sound (metal on metal). Like "clang, clang, clang."

Dropped on Illuminas and H-Techs with a RSB and FSTB. Otherwise I'm effectively stock.

BTW/FYI: This is not the only sound the car is afflicted with. I can and have heard my front sway bar end links clunking for a while now. I had them fixed a while ago and they must have broken again. Could be related but doubtful.

Any ideas?

Hmm.... interesting stuff. I have a similar problem except mine is somewhat of a creaking sound. Only happens when turning left and usually when I am on uneven surface (up the hill, etc). Still happens after replacing springs, struts and strut bearings. The CV boots look undamaged. I will look into the two things NisTech and Sooner suggested. Thanks!

i had the same issue
there is a bump stop on the lower control arm
when people work on them they fall off
take a look with the wheel off and you will see marks on the car and trace it back to where its coming from
thats my thoughts
