Any special type of fluids we have to use for our cars?

Need to re-fill the basic fluids like brake, power steering and so forth, my old maxima leaked power steering fluid everywhere so I'm just asking this before hand about the 2000-03 Maximas.

Can we use basic power steering fluids or brake fluids from Advance Auto Parts? Or is it better to buy directly from Nissan?

Thanks.

Just check your owner's manual or the Fluids and Lubricants forum for specs you need for the various fluids and get the equivalents. Or just get them all from Nissan.
