2K2 Max Headunit

dear everyone:
for those of u who has the 2k2 max without the bose option, since without this option, did u guys change the headunit without changing the speakers?? and if u do, how does that sound?? cuz the OEM headunit only have 120W, so do u guys think if u put a 52x4 headunit without changing the speakers, will that sound a lot better?? need some advises...thanks

I didn't change the headunit only for the fact that doing that will disable your steering wheel control and your trip computer buttons.

There's a harness to help make your audio controls on the steering wheel still work but i haven't heard of any successful installs at this point.

Instead i'm just going to change the speakers and perhaps add an external amp.
