2003 HID healights and Nissan Dealership Anti-Theft Brackets

So some jerk ****** tried to steal my drivers side HID but after breaking the two tabs, he was not successful in stealing them. He has left a freaking deep scratch on the lens. I have super glued the broken plastic tabs together, and they are fine.

I had called Nissan dealership in Quincy, MA and last year they had mentioned that they are installing Anti Theft brackets for free on 5.5 gen. I did not get it done at that point because i had a ding in the front bumper and then got busy with school and stuff. Recently when most other Dealerships refused doing or even knowing of such brackets, the same old Quincy dealership has offered to do the job.

My question is, with the super glue on the plastic tabs on drivers side, Is it still possible to get hte anti theft brackets done ?

Is there a way to JUST get that plastic black part of the headlights from somewhere for cheap ?

Happy 4th of July and Thanks guys.

If you did not get the anti theft brackets done by Nissan explain to them that it must be installed per Nissan Motor Corp. It is called "Data Dot" and you can find the information online if you search for vehicle recalls. Hope that helps a little.

It is still possible to do them. I called Quirk when i got my 2003 and asked about it and they said they would do it. There is a recall on our cars in which the insall the bracket and essentially relocate the ballast in the bumper. Good luck.
