Fuel Pump Upgrade

Hey All,

Before installing the 'secret sause', I would like to upgrade the fuel pump. Looking at the search results... Walbro seems to be the pump to use. Is this right?
Question to those who have installed it...
Was it a straight replacement, or did modifications need to be done?
If so, what were the modifications?
Any other fuel pumps that are direct replacements?
Thanks in advance Ladies and Gentlemen.

Yeah it's pretty straight forward. Just R&R the fuel pump. Just be careful not to get gas on the O-ring or you'll need to get a new one from the dealer.
