BBK Upgrade and the pedal is somewhat soft - Any ideas?
I just upgraded to the 6th gen. calipers, rotors and a set of SS lines. I bleed all of the brakes using the order the manual stated and the pedal still feels a little mushy. It's not rock hard at all. I used Speed Bleeders for the bleeding process so I don't think there is air in the lines at all. Any ideas?
make sure you put the calipers on the correct side and/or check to see you have both a left and right caliper. I had mine on the incorrect side by not paying attention, which of course did not allow me to bleed the system correctly. There was still air caught in the system after several bleeds.

The bleed valve has to be on the top. That's how you tell whether it's a right or left caliper.

Given you changed the calipers...... 99% of the time the brakes need to be re-bled until they're done properly and/or adequately. Simple fix.
