I replaced the recline motor on my driver seat in my '02 and it still won't recline. I don't see any pinched wires leading from the switch to the harnesses to the motor.

What are the possible causes?

The only thing I can think of is the switch on the side of the seat? The switch is working fine for the the other power seat features.. when I use the recline I hear the "click" under the seat, but it will not recline.

 

use a voltmeter or test light and see if you get any voltage at the motor side then at the switch then you can do continuity on the wire to see if there are any breaks
