Now, that's no way to cow tip! You've just taken cow tipping to the 'Max'.

Pun intended.

Guess you scared the crap out of the cow! Glad you're alright...sucks for the max...I totaled my max by swerving from a deer and hitting a tree, so rather the cow than a tree.

And yes now I know my own stupidity.

Ouch, that looks painful... Hopefully it won't be too much to fix.

Good news is I just got it back yesterday from the shop. It looks good.

It's a 2001 AE and the engine cover comes standard on the 20th Anniversary Edition. Unfortunately, to cut cost, they didn't really fix the cover so it's still cracked.

I hope you gave a tip, or bought cofees for the shop guys, grease and grime sure, but cow-dung isn't something that they deal with on a regular basis, that **** was all over the place, and it looked a little runny.

Any word on my last post Re: trying to find the farm/farmer and talk to a lawyer?

I hope you have liability on that thing.

Also, glad to see your ok.

Also again. I hit an immature deer 7 months ago in another 5.5 gen I had and did nearly 3 times the damage, but I car looked much the same (although I didn't have any deer poo in my engine compartment and I hit the thing square in the behind). You're luckly you don't have uber expensive head light assemblies. That alone added almost 3K to the repair bill.

actually you have to have comprehensive coverage on the car not liability. Liability coverage is when you hit someone and are at fault. Comp coverage takes care of falling objects, animals, hail, flood, fire etc...

He doesn't need comprehensive, the car is fully paid for. Thats why I wanted to know if hes got liability.
