I am about to gut the bose system on an '03 and was wondering if anyone knew for sure the front and rear door speaker dimensions. i've been on a couple of different sites to reference those numbers and alot are saying 6.5" comp. front, and 6.5" coax. rear, but crutchfield's site is saying 6 3/4" comp. front and 5 1/4" coax. rear, and when I called them they are sticking by those last numbers because they say they actually pull the car apart and measure the speakers, they don't go by any nissan spec. sheets or anything. I've seen a few threads on this, but i having trouble with the link not going to the right thread. if someone who actually pulled the speakers could confirm the correct dimensions that would be great, i'm looking to get the speakers today.

 

On my 2000 they were 6 1/2 and 5 1/4.

 

6.5" components up front (Tweeter in lower a pillar) and 5.25 in the rear.

 

So the front are 6.5 and the back 5 and 1/4 for rear? I thought they where the other way around. I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima GXE if you where wondering. No bose...

 

Should be the same sizes me and my friend have the the same gen max but ones the gxe and I have the GLE same speaker sizes.
