starting problem

when the car is warm when I start the car it wants to die but then picks up and runs fine. No problems once it's running. With the car running I can smell some fuel in the engine bay up top. I did find on one of the pressure lines going to the fuel rail had fuel in it. There shouldn't be fuel in those lines right. I did have a hard time starting car when cold but that went away once I added a ground wire to the starter. I have no codes. I have 147K miles on the car and I am looking at replacing the cat soon.

Guess I don't need help from any of you. It's the fuel dampner on the return fuel line.
