So I come out of a business after locking my 02 Maxima and when I come out my windows are down and the keyfob doesn't work?

So today I replace the battery and I reprogram it per here, http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...ew-remote.html

My other keyfob worked when I reprogrammed it perfectly. When I reinsert the new battery on the fob that doesn't work, it flashes the lights 3 times and the dam windows roll down?


WTH is the dam problem. I am not taking it in for the stealership to charge me some outrageous fee!

tried searching but can't find a fix! Someone over at the other forums (Z Forums) said it was the vehicle not the fob!

 

could try disconnecting the neg battery terminal for a few hours and then try a reprogram

i know when my sunroof controls got f'ked up, (tilt would slide it back and the actual slider would do both tilt and slide) CRAZY I KNOW

but any way, i disconnected the neg battery terminal for a few hours and then connected it back, my sunroof worked perfectly after that
