I bought a 5 Spd 01 AE a few weeks ago and began swapping all my mods from my current Auto 01 AE. When I was doing the S/C install, I pulled all the plugs to replace them.

When I pulled the coil pack closest to the passenger side in the rear (Looking from the front of the car), the bottom of it was "wet". I'm talking about the bottom "bullet-shaped" part that sits on top of the plug.

So I pull the plug, and it is completely dripping with oil, but I look at the hot spot, and it's dry, so I know that the oil came from above.

Before I did any of this, I had the car out for a few runs at AutoX and it ran great, so I don't think it's anything too serious. Does anyone know why this would be???

Spark plug tube seals on your valve cover.

 

Yeah I was thinking "leaky valve cover", but to be honest I wasn't really familiar with it. Is there a sticky or thread around that I can get more info from?

Just a though......would that result in a huge boost leak?

I don't mean any disrespect, but I disagree with the move.
I posted in "All Motor", where most of the people with knowledge on the DE-K hang out, genuinely looking for some help with my problem.
I don't think this is going to get as much attention from those guys in the general discussion forum.

However, if anyone can help out with some more info or point me to some threads that may help, please do so.
It would be greatly appreciated.

 

as mtrai760 said, your plug seals are leaking and need replacement.

 

So are they replaced separately, or do I replace one large gasket that seals them all?
How big of a job is it to do?
Are there any schematics on here that I can look at to get an idea of what exactly I'm dealing with?

there individual to each plug, you have to remove the rear valve cover and just replace them, you will also need a rear valve cover gasket. you have to pull the upper intake manifold, and then the coils, plugs, valve cover and the plug seals are on the valve cover, they are black round rubber seals.

 

have you tried downloading the FSM on phatg20.net?
