Annoying rattle in passenger 'A' pillar - fix???

I've had an annoying rattle in the passenger's 'A' pillar for some time now. It's related to bumps and such in the road, not the radio (AKA, not a tweeter.) I've taken the trim piece off, looked around, cleaned things up, and no better (Except for maybe a week.)

Any ideas how to fix? Do I need to run some kind of felt or something along the entire edge of the pillar? Knock wood, it's the only rattle so far and it's driving me up a wall!

Ohhh, really! So sorry, I've seen the Bose rattle, never knew about another one. My fault for not looking, thanks Tim!

np...

I tried several things.. but the rattle always came back. it wasnt until I did the trimming as shown in the TSB and used felt tape over that area (doubled up over the old) did the rattle really go for good. Now I hear that buzz in my window/doorlock controls... no tsb for that

No buzz in that area but has anyone had the buzzing noise or creak coming right up near the windshield where it meets the dash? Talk about annoying! I dont think its the clock....probably the dash rubbing on the shield.....sigh

Let me make sure I got this right, even after reading the TSB. Pull the old stuff away from the plastic trim (The three pieces) and trim some of the plastic away. Put the felt back down, with more on top of it (Hence the triming of the plastic to make room) and good luck?

well...

all I can say is that the TSB made no sense to me until I actually looked at the plastic ribs that need trimming. it's obvious once you have it in hand. you'll also notice where the felt has worn down.

mostly the new felt covers the part that you will find probably has worn through.
