rpm dropping below 1000

A little advice please.....

I have a 03 max with about 100,000 miles.
i have never had any problems with this car and i have always taken car of this car, from tune ups, to premium gas.
back in may i decided to park my car for a few because i wasnt working. from may to august is about 3 months.
in this time a strange problem has occured.
90 percent of the time when i start the car the rpm,s sit below 1000....
around 500 rpm,s... it makes the car shake and vibrate...
i cleaned the intake and mass air flow and changed air filters...
i took it to my mechainc where he put it on a scanner and like 8 codes came out...
trottle sensors and all...
but
the service engine light has never came on....
he told me that the trottle will clean itself???????
that sounds werid....
im not gonna even look down the sealerships direction.
ps. i tried treatments of all kinds already

From what i understand the code has to be thrown several times before the light comes on. I would replace the tps also before that try the idle re-learn procedure.

does the shaking go away after the car warms up? Have you checked all your vacuum lines to make sure a. all the hoses are on and b. none of the hoses are split, cracked, or leaking?

It may just be the gas as it sits it will start to deterioate and lose octane and condensation in the tank will cause there to be some water in itI'd try some kind of dewatering additive to the gas and run it to empty then refill and use some techtron injector cleaner to help it out

If the car has sat a while (at least a few days), that is pretty normal. I have customers who have cars they rarely drive and when I start them up (some are pretty high end), they idle low and rough for 20 seconds or so, then it evens out.
