weird rev jump.

Ok check this out, while driving my car today i noticed when shifting from any gear the car goes to shift but feels like it is in neutral, but if i push the gas pedal harder it accelartes perfectly fine then shift, what could cause this? MAF?? Tranny on the way out?? Someone help me out here

what speed were you doing? if at 60mph, it still drops to idle, check your torque converter lock.

it does t his at any speed, and what exactly is spiking? the only thing the car does is feel like it loses acceleration unless i push the gas pedal closer to the floor, it feel almost as if the car jumps into neutral, but it continues to gain speed, but it only does this when i really mash the gas pedal, if i drive the car normally, it shifts perfectly fine

I see there were a few TSB's on the transmission in my car, whats the difference between a TSB and a RECALL??? Is a dealer obligated to repair the problem if a TSB is involved?

Recall is a factory issued Tsb, which should be fixed for free.
Tsb would be free if it's under warrenty.

WHAT IF i bought an extended warentee on the powertrain that expires in 2 days? Would that cover it?
