Finally replaced my cracked fog lens, and....

...Installed a set of yellow tinted Lens Protection Film from Lamin-x. Check it out... Paired with 300K HID's (from Operatic) in the fogs, they are bright as fawk! Opinions???

Im not a big fan of the yellow foglights, so ....ehhh

BUT

These dont even look that bad so I am sure that anybody that likes that style would very much like this.

Great move protecting your foglights from all that flying debris! My original fogs lasted about 3 months after I bought my car brand new!!!! I'm using protective film from mats.com to protect my second set of fogs and they're really working well...according to the manufacture, the film can withstand a .22 caliber pellet fired from an air rifle at 25 ft, and not crack, chip, nor shatter!

I replaced both fog light a few months ago with the lamin-x clear films. I noticed a couple weeks ago that the driver side lens is cracked already. Maybe I will try the films from mats.com and see if they work any better.....

I hate the fog lights......ive replaced the passenger side twice, and the driver side once, and I need to do the driver side again. I've only owned the car for a year and a half.

I really wish one of you would simply go outside and take a pic of the lights on the road with headlights on and off at night, It would really help alot of us...

I'm not sure if you know but Lamin-X offers different mil thickness's for their film! I don't know exactly what mil thickness Mat.com film is but they guarantee it won't be damaged even with a shoot to it(.22 pellet air rifle) from 25 ft! I've had mine installed now for 4.5 yrs, without any damage or incidents at all here are 2 pic's...oo yeah, when you replace them just buy the entire foglight kit (relay, switch, and fogs light assy) it's less expensive than replacing the foglights by themselve and make sure they're Nissan Oem's not that cheap *ss sh*t off ebay. The ebay crap is made in China (sucks)!

Dallas is the only place I've had damage inflicted on my car while driving....I go there maybe 8 times a year and so far, I've hit a piece of metal that owned the **** out of the bottom of my car and my side skirt, two rocks have gone through each of my foglights, and the only crack on my windshield I got in Denton...

Next time you're driving in the big city, just hold your hand out the window and all you'll feel is debris hitting your hand! How do those motorcycle guys ride without a face shield or goggles is beyond me!

I love them, I love seeing the yellow and blue together on the road forming green...When you drive down the road people see yellow fog, blue headlight, and green road...I think it's great and the reflections bounce off of signs really nice...

and btw thank you... =O)

Yes, Those are the Custom Yellow fogs from Operatic, with LAMIN-X yellow tinted protection film on them...

Since I replaced BOTH lights, I have a non-cracked OEM passenger side fog light left over... Let me know if interested (PM ME)
